 Russia Adoption Program

Russia is one of the largest countries in the world with area of 6,590,900 square miles and population of 144 million. Russia is located between Europe and Asia. Contemporary Russia, under the leadership of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, is trying to modernize the country's military, legal institutions, and schools and is also cracking down on Russian oligarchs, provincial governors, and the media. Russia has a vast wealth of natural resources and is rich in coal, oil, natural gas, silver, and gold. Russia is a rich country; however, the majority of Russian people cannot call themselves "rich." Dramatic and rapid changes, which Russia has undergone since 'perestroika,' brought many challenges to the Russian people.

 Kazakhstan Adoption Program

Kazakhstan, a country in Central Asia, is bordered on the north by Russia; on the east by China; on the south by Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan; and on the west by the Caspian Sea and Russia. It was formerly the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (part of the USSR). Kazakhstan is a big country that covers about one million square miles. Ethnically, 48% of the population is Kazakh, and 34% is Russian. In addition to the two main ethnic groups, over 120 nations and nationalities live in Kazakhstan. Astana is the capital of the country. People speak Kazakh and Russian. The national currency is tenge.

  Nepal Adoption Program

Nepal is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of bio-diversity due to its unique geographical position and altitude variation. The elevation of the country ranges from 60 meters above sea level to the highest point on earth, Mt. Everest at 8,848 meters, all within a distance of 150 kilometers, resulting in climatic conditions from sub-tropical to arctic.

 Ethiopia Adoption Program

Ethiopia is one of the world’s oldest nations and Africa's most populous nation. Ethiopia is filled with rugged mountains and isolated river valleys making it one of the most breathtaking nations on the continent. Due to poverty, abandonment and other misfortune, Ethiopia has a large population of orphaned children.

  Bulgaria Adoption Program

Bulgaria is a beautiful Balkan country that is flanked by the Black Sea, one of its biggest assets for summer tourism. Today, Bulgaria is a proud member of NATO and will join EU in the beginning of 2007. Most of the population is Bulgarian (85%), Turkish (9%), others (6%, Gypsies, Russians, Jews, Greeks). Bulgaria is known for its unique finds in the museums, including the world's oldest gold, with beautiful collections of works from self-taught old masters to modern painters in the art galleries and with classical concerts and folklore song-and-dance festivals. Bulgaria is rich in tradition, and you will be amazed by the number of magnificent churches and monasteries that are located everywhere in Bulgaria. People in Bulgaria are very hospitable, and the local cuisine is delicious.

 Ukraine Adoption Program

The Ukraine is located in Central Eastern Europe. The second largest country in Europe occupies the southwest part of the Eastern European Plateau and part of the Carpathian and Crimean mountains and shares its borders with Russia and Poland. The Ukraine encompasses approximately 233,000 square miles. It has a population of about 52 million people. The capital of Ukraine is Kiev, where our adoption program is headquartered. The Ukraine is rich with tradition and culture. Ethnic groups are Ukrainian (73%), Russian (21%), Jewish (2%) and other (4%). Children are mostly blond with blue eyes.

 Hungary Adoption Program

Our Hungarian adoption program offers parents the option of one trip to the country. You will travel to beautiful Budapest and stay for about four to six weeks to complete your adoption process. One of the advantages of the Hungarian program is the adoption fee will not be increased if you adopt a sibling group; you will be paying an adoption fee for one child only. The majority of children available for adoption from Hungary live in foster homes. The foster care system is closely supervised by the Hungarian government, and children receive the best care. When we on your behalf submit your dossier to the country, you will receive detailed medical information, as well as video and photos of your child. Hungary as a member of the European Union and therefore has fewer travel and adoption challenges.

Azerbaijan Adoption Program

Azerbaijan is the largest and most populous country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia.  It shares its borders with the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west and Iran to the south.  Adoption ARK is very excited to be the first agency registered under the new process in Azerbaijan.

Ghana Adoption Program

Ghana is a beautiful African country located on Gulf of Guinea, between Cote d'Ivoire and Togo.  Unfortunatly, Ghana is one of Africa's least developed and poorest countries.  Approximatly 45%, of Ghana's estimated 21 million people, live on less than $1 per day.  The exact number of orphaned children in Ghana remains unclear but is thought to be stagering.  Children available for adoption in Ghana are usually over 2 years of age.
