Our Hungarian adoption program offers parents the option of one trip to the country. You will travel to beautiful Budapest and stay for approximately four to six weeks to complete your adoption process. One of the advantages of the Hungarian program is the adoption fee. The fees for the adoption of a sibling group are the same as the fees for a single child adoption.
The majority of children available for adoption from Hungary live in foster homes. The foster care system is closely supervised by the Hungarian government and children generally receive very good care. Adoption ARK can assist with the adoption of a single child from 8-16 years old, with the adoption of large sibling groups that may include younger children, and children with special needs.
After your dossier is submitted to Hungary you will receive detailed medical information, a video, and photos of the child referred to you by the Hungarian government. Hungary is a member of the European Union and therefore has fewer travel and adoption challenges. There is a low risk of unpredictability and law changes. Healthy children are available. If you are considering adopting a special needs child, the Hungarian government encourages such adoptions and your referral waiting time or stay in the country could be significantly reduced . Parents receive referrals before they travel to Hungary but after their paperwork is approved for adoption by the Hungarian government. Please contact Adoption ARK for more information about the Hungary adoption program.
