Adoption ARK is excited to announce the sponsorship of the ARK of Hope Foster Care Center in Africa. ARK of Hope will be a loving and caring temporary home to 60 orphaned children from newborn to 12 years of age.
There is a drastic difference between the care a government orphanage can provide and the care of a privatly funded home. ARK of Hope is staffed with a full time nurse, teacher, cook and adequate staff to look after the needs of the children. Children that reside at ARK of Hope will be provided with nutritious food, private medical care and the attention that they crave. For many children, living in a private orphanage is the difference between life and death.
Adoption ARK is asking for your help. The cost of sponsoring a child is $42 per month. Would you please consider sponsoring one or more children at the ARK of Hope Foster Care Center? Sponsors will receive quarterly updates on the orphanage, the children and orphanage events.

A privately funded orphanage can appropriately provide for the needs of the children that live there. For example, this orphanage provides children with clean clothes, adequate bedding, toys, nutritious meals, mosquito netting, etc... In addition, this orphanage is properly staffed so that all children recieve attention and care.
Unfortunatly, the children that reside at a public orphanage are lacking in all basic nessessities. The public orphanages are under funded and unable to meet the basic needs of the children.
