Natasha is 17. She became an orphan after her parents lost their parental rights. She lived in an orphanage but now lives on her own. Five years ago she underwent treatment for acute lpromyelocytic leukemia in the chemotherapy unit of Children's hospital No.1 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Unfortunatly, Natasha relapsed and has returned to the hospital for treatment. Natasha needs help with everything: paying for medication and tests, purchases of basic needs such as clothing and personal items, food, etc... She also is struggling to pay for her apartment. This poor girl has really gone through a tramatic ordeal. During the course of treatment (chemotherapy and marrow bone transplantation) she lost one eye and now she has a prosthetic eye. Currently, immunophenotyping testing for the minimal residual disease showed that Natasha has three defective cells in her bone marrow. There are no guarantees that Natasha's body once again will respond the same way to chemotherapy. Thankfully, Natasha is in a remission but after this second bout with cancer, she needs help getting re-established. She is a beautiful child. Please consider helping Natasha.
