UPDATE: Thank you so much for coming to the aid of the Balmandir Orphanage in Nepal. With your help, Adoption ARK was able to purchase over 200 boxes of Formula. Lactogen formula is premixed and, as you can imagine, 200 boxes of formula does not last long when you have so many little mouths to feed. Previously, orphanages in Nepal relied heavily on adoption funds to help provide for the needs of the children. As adoptions have stalled in Nepal and the economic situation has worsened, the orphanages are struggling to meet the needs of the children. Adoption ARK has been active in bringing humanitarian aid to Nepal for many years. Last year, Adoption ARK delivered cases of baby formula to Balmandir. They recently notified Adoption ARK that they were out of formula and did not have the funds to buy anymore. Adoption ARK has made arrangements with a distributor in Nepal so that the formula can be quickly purchased and delivered to the orphanage. Can you please help provide formula for the babies at the Balmandir orphanage? The formula is manufactured by Nestle and is called Lactogen.
