BOXING SCHOOL
Thank you all who supported us in developing the boxing school project!
It was a real success and one of the most exciting programs our organization, with our sponsor help, developed in the last year. Starting out as a project designed to help hi-active children from orphanages in positively consuming their energy, this program was a tremendous success. The boxing school was more then a sport project, it was a chance for children to change their future.
The sport group started one year ago at one orphanage in Russia . Shy and skeptics at the beginning, the children achieved in a couple of months more than in the past few years. They have started believing in themselves and maybe for the first time they have started dreaming and hoping for a better future.
At their first competition, after a few months of training, they proudly represent their school, standing courageous and confident in their success. Maybe the less important was the result of the boxing game, but for sure the most important was the victory within themselves. They have been winners in their own fight with every day challenges , with poor condition and hopeless dreams. For the first time these children have received better results at school, improving their capacity and interest in learning. They had started to believe in themselves, they have improved their skills and their behavior and they have become able to control the violent instinct and to transform it into a more positive reaction. Being polite and respectful is a real achievement and a real joy to be noticed.
So, children with socializing problems weren't rebellious anymore and for the first time they worked together, they were a real team, a real family, in fact. They were best friends with a big dream. Having the same goal helped them build their family and to work hard to achieve recognition. Part of the family, the couch has encouraged them every moment, support them in difficult times and keeping the team together. Sharing every special moment, celebrate every birthday, sharing the joy of victory and the ambition to do their best, have built the most amazing team, family in the orphanage.
That is the way this project was more than a simple project, it was a way of changing lives. It is a powerful mission which gives hope and confidence. It's amazing success has tremendous results, so we've been asked to continue. Our intention is to repeat the program in more orphanages and in different cities.
To be able to change more lives, we need your support. Without it, our initiative would be powerless and their dreams hopeless. Only together we have made a difference in developing more sport schools, in building strong, confident personalities and big dreams and hopes for future.
