Window Replacement Project
UPDATE: Adoption Ark has funds to help the orphanage with the windows and we are in a process of searching for the best company to do the installation. We will keep you informed of the progress.
A project to help improve the living conditions
of the children at the Karaganda Baby House.
The baby house in Karaganda, Kazakhstan is home to 100 children, from age newborn to 4 years old. This orphanage has approached us with an urgent need. The building is very old and most of the widows are cracked, broken or are not working properly. Subsequently, the baby house is cold and drafty causing the children frequent illness.
In an effort to keep the cold out, the staff is putting blankets over the windows that are broken. Also, the babies and children must wear their coats at all times in an effort to keep warm. We have already received a bid of $37,500 to complete this project. Please consider donating to the Window Project for the Karaganda Baby House.
