Hi Alla!
How are you?! Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how our Kazakhstan princess is doing!
She is such an amazing child and I thank God (and Adoption Ark!) every day for her! She is almost 18 months old already and is no longer a little baby -- she is quickly becoming a big girl. She runs our household and is now the boss of her brothers, even though she is the youngest! She is running around and talking up a storm! It's unbelievable that there seemed to be virtually no adjustment process for her or our other children. She just seamlessly became part of our family.
She and I have a very special bond. She has quickly become a mamma's girl, constantly wanting to be in my arms, and not wanting to share me with anyone! LOL!
And....she is so beautiful and smart. Too smart! Her intelligence scares me sometimes :-) It's amazing how she understands everything, even though she did not start hearing English until she was 9 months old.
Anyways, I wanted to also send you some recent pictures of Hailan. We just got back form a week of at Disney World. Hailan had a blast! She is a kamikaze in the water!
I think of you and Adoption Ark often and will never be able to thank you enough for bringing this gift into our lives!
